One of my favorite times to photograph in my garden is toward the end of the day when the sun is low. The soft, golden light gives me the opportunity to capture some beautiful bokeh with my camera. I photographed this coneflower in my garden with the sun sinking lower in the sky to highlight the soft golden dapped light in the background. To give you a magical feel when viewing this scene, I incorporated one of my other bokeh photographs to give the scene a calming and ethereal feel. With its soft orange petals splayed open this flower expresses a quiet confidence as it reveals its inner beauty for you to experience for yourself.
